What is the ruling of the Sharia on owning and decorating homes with birds and animals made by artisans?

If the birds and other living beings made by artisans are three-dimensional and have a shadow, then their manufacture, sale, purchase, and possession are unanimously forbidden, unless they are headless or their features are effaced. It is not permissible for a Muslim to use what is Islamically forbidden to spread Islam.
