Does divorce take effect if the wife says to her husband, "I do not fear Allah," while in a state of extreme anger?

Some scholars are of the opinion that whoever, of their own free will and full awareness, declares that they do not fear Allah is considered an apostate, such as a woman who tells her husband during an argument, "I do not fear Him [Allah]." Therefore, it is advisable to consult the Sharia courts to understand the wife's intention and to rule in accordance with Islamic law.
