How are the divorce pronouncements uttered by the husband while angry calculated, and what is the ruling on the oaths sworn by the husband in the past, which the wife has violated or has not yet violated?

Islam legislated marriage to achieve psychological stability for both spouses, not to be a cause of misery. Spouses should not succumb to Satan, who seeks to separate them using anger. Divorce is not the first solution to marital problems; rather, it is the last resort and should only be resorted to when its benefit is outweighed by its harm, especially when there are children involved. Express divorce occurs with the words "you are divorced." As for conditional divorce, it takes effect upon the fulfillment of the condition, and it cannot be revoked according to the majority of scholars. However, Ibn Taymiyyah held that it does not occur, and the person is obligated to offer an expiation for a broken oath. Divorce is disliked when there is no need for it, and its original ruling is prohibition due to the harm that results from it. The husband is not oppressive merely by divorcing unless he withholds a right due to the woman. It is advisable to refer to the Sharia court or Islamic centers to resolve disputed matters.
