How is filial piety fulfilled, what is the right of a deceased parent, and how can one know if their deceased father is pleased with them in cases of geographical distance and lack of direct communication?

The rights of parents are second only to the rights of Allah Almighty, as He says: [And your Lord has decreed that you shall not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment.] (Al-Isra: 23).

Filial piety towards parents is achieved by maintaining ties with them, obeying them in what is right, treating them kindly, being respectful and humble towards them, and not showing annoyance with them. Anything that contradicts this is considered disobedience.

This piety continues even after their death. If contacting the father by phone is a necessity due to the inability to visit, then there is no sin. However, if the daughter is capable of doing more than that but does not, and the father desires or needs it, then she is sinful and must repent, show remorse, seek forgiveness, and increase her good deeds.
