It is best to combine acquiring Ibn al-Qayyim’s books with what has been recently written from multiple sources. If combining is not possible, the priority differs according to the intention. If the intention is to use them as a reference, then acquiring books with multiple sources is preferable. However, if it is only for reading, then the books of the early scholars are more beneficial, blessed, and impactful.
