The answer

The girl's father should have stipulated that the suitor leave his job at the usurious banks, because it is forbidden except out of necessity. The suitor should not be asked to buy an apartment whose price he cannot afford, for the marital home does not have to be owned. Al-Khatib Al-Shirbini said: "It is not a condition for the dwelling to be his property at all; rather, it is permissible to house her in an endowed property, a rented property, or a borrowed property." Borrowing with usury is a grave sin for the suitor, entails a curse, and obliterates blessing. Allah Almighty said: "Allah destroys usury." And the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the one who consumes Riba, the one who feeds it, its scribe, and its two witnesses," and he said: "They are equal." Therefore, the suitor must repent and seek a permissible job.
