How is the expiation for breaking the Ramadan fast, which is feeding sixty needy persons, to be spent?

Feeding sixty destitute individuals as expiation involves giving each indigent person half a sa' of the staple food of the land, uncooked. It is also permissible to cook the food and gather the destitute to partake of it. It is not permissible to give the entire expiation amount to a poor family numbering fewer than sixty, as no single indigent person should receive more than half a sa'. However, if there are multiple expiations, then it is permissible to give half a sa' from each expiation to a single indigent person.
