1. What was narrated by Al-Tirmidhi: "He is not one of us who does not show mercy to our young and does not revere our elders." 2. What was narrated by Abu Dawud: "Indeed, part of glorifying Allah is honoring a Muslim elder, and a bearer of the Qur'an who does not go to extremes in it nor abandons it, and honoring a just ruler." 3.
