What is the ruling regarding someone who prayed Fajr and does not know whether they prayed before or after sunrise?

The Fajr prayer is valid for whoever prays it with the intention of Fajr, even if they do not intend performance (adaa’) or make-up (qadaa’), and this is the most preponderant opinion. The worshipper is not required to intend performance or make-up, and their prayer is valid if they were unaware of the time having elapsed.
