How do I supplicate to my Lord out of fear and hope for a worldly purpose?

There is no harm for a Muslim to supplicate to Allah Almighty for the good of both this world and the Hereafter, and to combine in his supplication fear of His punishment and longing for His reward, as Allah Almighty says: "Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire," and He said: "And invoke Him in fear and aspiration. Indeed, the mercy of Allah is near to the good-doers." A Muslim should have a good opinion of Allah Almighty, according to the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "I am as My servant thinks of Me," and fear and hope should be like two wings for a bird, carrying it towards rectitude.
