What is the ruling on the prayer and fasting of one who watched pornographic films during the daytime in Ramadan and had a seminal emission, then learned after a period of time that ghusl was obligatory, and is she required to make up the missed prayers and fasts?

The emission of semen due to masturbation or repeated looking invalidates the fast and necessitates making up the day. The prayer of one who ejaculated without performing ghusl (ritual bath) is not valid due to the absence of purity from major impurity (al-hadath al-akbar). A woman must make up the fasts she invalidated and the prayers she performed without purity. Her ignorance of the invalidity of the fast due to masturbation does not validate her fast, as long as she knows the prohibition of masturbation.
