To what extent is it permissible to narrate myths that speak of gods and their struggles, knowing that the sole purpose of narrating them is for benefit and knowledge?

It is permissible to read, transmit, or author fictional stories (myths) for entertainment and edification, even if they lack direct benefit, as long as they do not contain harm or something forbidden by Islamic law. This includes polytheistic meanings, intellectual deviations, denigration of religion and values, or advocacy for vices. Therefore, it is not permissible to transmit or translate myths that speak of gods and their conflicts, as they contain false polytheistic meanings, in accordance with His, the Exalted, saying: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression."
