What is the ruling on loving one's milk-sister, and is it permissible to marry her after her divorce from her husband?

It is forbidden to marry a foster sister, based on the Almighty's saying: "And your foster sisters" [Quran 4:23], and the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "What is forbidden by lineage is forbidden by fosterage." Furthermore, the mentioned relationship with her is unlawful if it leads to suspicion or temptation, and it becomes more sinful if the woman is married. Therefore, this relationship must be severed, and one must repent to Allah and hasten to marry if not already married. The woman must fear Allah, sever her relationship with him, and safeguard her husband's trust.
