A woman's appearance with trousers and a long blouse in front of non- men is not considered proper covering (satr) for her, because this attire reveals the details of the thighs and shins. The Muslim woman's dress must be flowing down to her feet. Even if the trousers are wide and loose, the distinction from men's clothing diminishes some of the covering.
