What rituals and acts of worship were practiced before Islam and affirmed by Islam to become part of the Islamic religion?

The religion of Islam is the religion Allah has chosen for His servants, and He accepts no other. This religion includes acts of worship shared with previous nations, among them:

1. Tawhid (Monotheism): This is the foundation of every divine law, as in [And We did not send any messenger before you except that We revealed to him: "There is no deity except Me, so worship Me."].

2. Prayer and Zakat: [And he used to enjoin on his family prayer and zakat, and he was, in the sight of his Lord, pleasing.].

3. Fasting: [O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous].

4. Hajj (Pilgrimage): [And proclaim to the people Hajj; they will come to you on foot and on every lean camel; they will come from every distant pass].

5. Jihad in the way of Allah: [But when fighting was ordained for them, they turned away, except a few of them].

6. Remembrance of Allah the Exalted: [And I said, 'Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever Forgiving. He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [abundance]'].

7. Good Morals: Such as fulfilling promises, forbearance, generosity, and supporting the oppressed. The proof for this is the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Indeed, I was sent to perfect noble character."
