Is reliance on Allah (Tawakkul) for matters we resolve to do, or for matters beyond our will, or for both, and does reliance include striving for provision and taking means?

Relying on Allah Almighty is essential in all matters and affairs, both small and large; for if Allah Almighty does not facilitate something, it will not be facilitated. Allah Almighty has commanded reliance upon Him in a general sense, to encompass everything. And reliance is an approaching of Allah from all perspectives, and a trust in Him.
