Can sorcery cause things to be moved from one place to another, and what is the ruling on one who believes that the Pharaohs performed magical acts to move ancient tombs?

It is not certain that sorcerers are truly capable of moving graves, but some sorcerers may seek the help of jinn to move simple objects, and moving graves is unlikely.

As for believing a sorcerer, it constitutes disbelief (kufr) if one believes his claim of knowing the unseen, based on Allah's saying: "Knower of the unseen, and He does not disclose His [knowledge of the] unseen to anyone Except to one whom He has approved as a messenger" [Al-Jinn 72:26-27]. And in the hadith: "Three will not enter Paradise: a habitual drunkard, one who severs ties of kinship, and one who believes in sorcery" — if the belief is concerning the unseen.

However, believing him in matters or events that are likely to occur does not fall under this prohibition, such as the slave girl's confession of sorcery to Aisha and Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with them both).
