What is the meaning of "he performs it during the hours of the night and the hours of the day"?

The aforementioned is agreed upon, narrated by Ibn Umar. The meaning of "آناء الليل والنهار" (ana' al-layl wal-nahar) is: its hours (of the night and day). What is meant by "performing it" (al- bihi) is: acting upon it through recitation and obedience. This includes the absolute act of reciting it, both inside and outside of prayer, teaching it, and issuing rulings and fatwas based on its provisions.
