Is it permissible to remove one's gloves while performing manual tasks that require precision and are difficult to do with them on, knowing that I wear a niqab?
We congratulate you on the blessing of covering the face and hands, and we ask Allah to protect you and increase you in guidance and piety. Covering the face and hands is obligatory according to the most preponderant opinion of scholars. Therefore, it is not permissible for a woman to uncover her hands in the presence of non- men unless there is a necessity. There is no necessity for you to uncover them for learning this science. Hence, it is not permissible for you to uncover them in the presence of non-mahram men, otherwise, you would be sinful. Unless you are in dire need of this study and find no means to complete the aforementioned tasks without uncovering your hands, then there is no objection to uncovering them, while exercising caution as much as possible to avoid a non-mahram seeing them.
