What should I do about the prayers I performed while I was in a state of impurity due to masturbation and my ignorance that prayer was invalid then?

Practicing masturbation necessitates ablution (wudu') and washing the affected area when madhy (pre-seminal fluid) is discharged, and a ritual bath (ghusl (definition)) for major impurity when maniy (semen) is discharged. If a person prays without purification after the discharge of madhy or maniy, their prayer is invalid and must be repeated. If the number of invalid prayers is known, they should be made up. If unknown, they should pray a number sufficient to be on the safe side, along with increasing supererogatory prayers and seeking forgiveness. However, if no discharge results from masturbation, the prayer is valid, but repentance from practicing it remains obligatory because it is forbidden.
