What is the ruling on the whispers (waswas) that urge one to go to women for pleasure or for examination, and is following them considered shirk (polytheism)? And does frequent questioning about waswas fall under shirk?

Such whisperings are from the wiles of Satan. If they afflict you, seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan. Strive to repel them and do not fulfill what Satan whispers to you, for then they will not harm you. And praise be to Allah, who confined his wiles to mere whisperings. It is not permissible for a Muslim to embark on committing any of these sins; otherwise, he would be sinful. However, the mere act of committing them is not considered shirk (polytheism), just as asking about matters related to whisperings is not considered shirk. A Muslim should not pay attention to whisperings or ask about them, as that is a means for them to take hold of his soul and negatively affect him, because their cure lies in ignoring them.
