If the son died because he was carrying a discarded electrical wire, and the father had no hand in that, then there is no blood money (diyya) or expiation () due from him. This is because his death resembles a natural death that could not have been prevented. The jurisprudential rule states: "That which cannot be guarded against incurs no liability."
