When is the time for Qiyam al-Layl, what should be recited during it, and is it true that performing the prayer with Surat al-Baqarah during Qiyam al-Layl is better for someone seeking solace for an afflicted person?

The time for Qiyam Al-Layl (night prayer) has been explained in previous fatwas. The worshipper should recite whatever is easy for him from the Qur’an, as Allah Almighty says: "So recite what is easy therefrom" (Quran 73:20). The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, prayed with Surah Al-Baqarah, but there is no evidence to specify its recitation for the removal of worry and grief.
