Will a person be rewarded for listening to a religious lesson without prior intention, and then intend to seek reward for it afterwards?

There is no sin in listening to religious lessons if one encounters them by chance, and the listener is hoped to be rewarded if he seeks that from Allah. However, this is not equivalent to gathering and attending a study circle.
