Is it permissible to sell wheat and barley derivatives, such as bread and pasta, on credit, given that wheat and barley themselves cannot be sold except hand-to-hand?

Gold, silver, and currencies represent prices, while the other categories mentioned in the Hadith (wheat, barley, dates, salt) represent non-prices. Usury (riba) occurs between the two monetary forms, and between the other categories, but it does not occur between the monetary forms and the other categories. Therefore, it is permissible to sell any of the other categories for gold, silver, or currencies, whether in cash or on credit, even if the price increases due to the deferred payment. What is prohibited is selling similar types hand-to-hand with a differential (riba al-fadl), or selling them without immediate possession if they are of different kinds (riba al-nasi’ah). However, if the types differ, it is permissible to sell some of them for others with a differential, provided it is hand-to-hand.
