What do you do about not paying a teacher's wage, despite your attempts to deliver it to her, and after hearing the saying that Allah does not accept the prayers, fasting, or supplications of one who does not pay a worker's wage?

The school must be given the wage of the like (اجر المثل) if the wage was not specified at the time of the contract, because it is considered like a private employee. In this case, the contract becomes void, and the wage of the like is due. Payment of the wage must be expedited to clear one's conscience and fulfill the contract. If it is impossible to reach her after searching, then one should give charity on her behalf, and she has the option [to claim it] if she is found later. And whoever refuses to pay the wage of an employee, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, has warned that he will be his adversary on the Day of Resurrection.
