What is the way to return to consistency in prayer and reading the Qur’an, as was previously the case?

Faith increases and decreases; it increases with obedience and decreases with disobedience, and it needs renewal. Sins create a black spot in the heart and lead to a disconnection from good. Therefore, one should ask Allah to renew faith, repent from sins, practice means of strengthening faith, associate with righteous women, and diversify acts of worship. Delaying prayer beyond its prescribed time without a valid excuse is a grave sin, while delaying it from its earliest time misses the virtue of praying at its earliest time.
