Should the support (nafaqah) spent by the husband on his wife, who apostatized from Islam then returned to it, and a fatwa was issued for their marriage to remain, be returned to the husband?

The maintenance of an apostate wife during her apostasy is not obligatory upon her husband. If the husband spent on her while unaware of her apostasy, he has the right to reclaim that maintenance from her, unless he absolves her of it.
