Is it permissible for a woman to return to her husband who embraced Islam to marry her, but then does not adhere to any of the pillars of Islam, especially given her fear of losing financial support for her daughter if she refuses to return?

If a man apostatizes from Islam, it is not permissible for him to marry a Muslim woman. If he remains Muslim but does not fast or pray, it is not permissible for the woman to return to him in marriage. The daughter's maintenance is obligatory upon her father, and the maintenance of a poor woman is obligatory upon her wealthy relatives. In case of dispute over maintenance, the matter should be referred to the Shariah court. Whoever fears Allah and relies upon Him, He will suffice him. Death by hunger is better than committing what displeases Allah.
