What is the interpretation of a dream in which a married Christian woman prays the congregational 'Isha prayer in her house with her husband, and supplicates for them both?
A righteous vision is one of forty-six parts of prophethood, and it is among the glad tidings that remain from prophethood. A righteous vision is from Allah, while a bad dream is from Satan. This vision seen by the Christian woman is a righteous vision and a great glad tiding for her entry into Islam. There is no impediment for a righteous vision to come to a disbeliever, for a disbeliever's vision may be true and a great glad tiding, just as happened with Aminah bint Wahb, the mother of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who saw a light by which the palaces of Busra were illuminated. A vision may be seen by a disbeliever or a wicked person, but the most truthful in vision are the most truthful in speech.
