We have previously clarified the permissibility of a father giving his to his poor son if the son's maintenance is not obligatory upon him, and when the obligation of maintenance for a son or daughter ceases for their father. Therefore, look into the condition of your children and determine whether they are poor or not, and whether they are capable of earning a livelihood or not. If these impediments are absent, then there is no blame upon you for giving them your Zakat.
