How is the inheritance of a woman distributed who died, leaving behind a brother and a sister, and four children of her deceased son (two males and two females)?

The estate of a deceased woman is divided among her grandchildren, the sons and daughters of her son, with the male receiving the equivalent of the share of two females. Her brothers and sisters have no share in it because the sons of the son are closer in kinship and stand in place of direct offspring when the latter are absent, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: "Allah instructs you concerning your children: for the male, what is equal to the share of two females." It is emphasized that matters of inheritance must be referred to the Sharia courts for investigation, to ascertain the heirs, debts, and bequests.
