1 min readAlso available in العربية

If the water in fish farm ponds is clean, with no change in its color, taste, or odor, then it is pure and purifying, and ablution with it is permissible. If one of its characteristics changes due to fish excrement or something pure that usually accompanies it, it is still considered pure and purifying, and ablution with it is valid; because the change is due to a pure substance that accompanies it and cannot be avoided. However, if other water is available, it is preferable.
