Is the written statement (If the weather is extremely hot… Allah casts His hearing and sight upon the people of the earth, and if a man says: There is no god but Allah, how hot is this day, O Allah, protect me from the heat of Hell, Allah says to Hell: Indeed, a servant from My servants has sought My protection from your heat, and I bear witness to you that I have protected him from you) a sound hadith?

The aforementioned Hadith is very weak and is not authentically attributed to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. It was narrated through two chains, both of which are extremely weak. The first has weakness in memorization, and some narrators were not deemed trustworthy. The second has a lying narrator who fabricates Hadith. Despite the Hadith's weakness, it is permissible to make supplications similar to it if appropriate for the occasion, but without believing in its authenticity as coming from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, or considering it among the prescribed and established forms of remembrance.
