What is the religious ruling regarding expelling the wife from her home and depriving her of the 'iddah period after the husband has sworn divorce for the second time?

The husband's action of expelling his wife from the home after divorcing her for the second time is not permissible according to Islamic law. This contradicts the Almighty's saying: "Do not expel them from their homes, nor should they leave, unless they commit a clear immorality." The revocably divorced woman has the right to housing and maintenance during the waiting period (iddah). Her staying in the home provides an opportunity for reconciliation and mending the relationship, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: "You do not know; perhaps Allah will bring about after that a new matter." The husband must return her to her home and provide for her unless the iddah period has expired.
