Do the deceased's maternal half-siblings or his paternal cousins inherit the remaining third of the inheritance after his daughters have received two-thirds?

If the deceased passes away leaving daughters, uterine brothers (who are also paternal cousins), and other paternal cousins, the inheritance is divided as follows: The daughters receive two-thirds as a prescribed share (fard), and the uterine brothers receive one-third as a prescribed share (fard). The paternal cousins receive nothing because nothing remains after the prescribed shares. If anything remains for the 'asabah (agnatic heirs), the uterine brothers who are also paternal cousins participate in it if they are equal in degree and strength of kinship. Al-Zarkashi indicated that if one of the two paternal cousins is a uterine brother, then the uterine brother receives one-sixth, and the remainder is divided equally between them.
