Is there sin upon one who renovated the family home, which contributed to increasing its value and to the marriage of his sisters, and is it incumbent upon him to return what he spent on the renovation to his sisters when they demand it?

A Muslim should not regret doing good deeds, such as maintaining kinship ties and caring for relatives, for Allah does not let the reward of those who do good go to waste. If the amount you spent on renovating the house was for the benefit of everyone, then no one has the right to demand it from you, especially since the renovation increased the value of the house and distributed its cost fairly among the heirs. Care should be taken to remove the causes of disagreement and to reach an understanding with the sisters, and to avoid severing kinship ties, as it is among the major sins.
