من هو الصحابي الذي أُلقي في النار مثل سيدنا إبراهيم؟

Abu Muslim Abdullah bin Thawb al-Khawlani, the master of the Tabi'in and the ascetic of his era, embraced Islam during the lifetime of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, but did not meet him. He was from Yemen, and when the liar and false prophet Al-Aswad Al-Ansi appeared, he lit a great fire and threw Abu Muslim into it, but it did him no harm. He arrived in Medina during the caliphate of Abu Bakr. When Umar ibn Al-Khattab saw him and learned that he was the one whom fire did not burn, he said: "Praise be to Allah who did not cause me to die until He showed me, among the Ummah of Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, one to whom was done what was done to Ibrahim the intimate friend of Allah." His prayers were answered, and he was devoted to worship. He died as a ghazi (fighter in a holy war) in the year 62 AH.
