Is it permissible for a pregnant woman to wear a hijab that contains Quranic verses with the intention of protecting the fetus from miscarriage, and is it permissible to go to a sheikh who recites the Quran for a material fee?

The Quran is a healing for souls and bodies. Adhering to the prescribed remembrances (adhkar) and supplications (du'as), and reciting the verses of Ruqyah (Islamic exorcism) protects a Muslim and nullifies the effect of the evil eye or magic, provided that both the reciter and the one being recited upon adhere to religious obligations and avoid prohibitions.

As for hanging an amulet (hijab) from the Quran, the preponderant opinion is that it is not permissible, due to the general prohibition of amulets, to block the means (sadd al-dhari'ah), and due to the potential for disrespect.

Regarding going to a shaykh who recites the Quran and takes a fee for the recitation for treatment, there is no harm in that. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, permitted his companions to take a recompense for Ruqyah if healing occurred through it and it was in accordance with the Sunnah.
