The answer

There is no harm in reciting the Quran with the intention of interceding for the preservation of the fetus or the fulfillment of legitimate needs, because it is a lawful intercession through good deeds. It was narrated in the : "Recite the Quran and ask Allah through it." This indicates the permissibility of asking for whatever one wishes regarding worldly and otherworldly matters through the Quran, or supplicating after recitation. There is no objection to treating a woman with lawful by reciting the Quran and the reported supplications, as this is one of the most effective treatments. However, as for seeking protection by hanging Quranic verses or surahs, the correct view is that it is prohibited.
