Why is a man rewarded in Paradise with many houris, while a woman shares her husband with others?

Allah Almighty forbade women from wishing for what is exclusive to men, as He says: "And do not covet what Allah has favored some of you over others. For men is a share of what they have earned, and for women is a share of what they have earned. And ask Allah of His bounty. Indeed, Allah is Ever Knowing of all things." Allah has made a determined share for men and women from work and recompense, and it is better to ask Allah of His bounty instead of wishing.
