Does my fulfilled prayer, performed with an incomplete state of purity due to a prostate congestion illness, require repetition after recovery from it?
The dripping of urine has two cases: The first: That the dripping is continuous and does not stop for a sufficient time to perform ablution and prayer. This is called urinary incontinence ( سلس البول ). Its owner must perform ablution after the time for prayer begins and take precautions to prevent the spread of urine. He prays with the congregation unless he fears polluting the mosque, in which case he prays at home, either in congregation or individually. The second: That the dripping stops for a sufficient time to perform ablution and prayer. In this case, he must delay the prayer until the dripping stops, even if this leads to him missing congregational prayer in the mosque.
If you prayed previous prayers with an invalid purification due to your ignorance, some scholars are of the opinion that there is no obligation to make them up because Allah has forgiven error and forgetfulness. They based this on the fact that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did not command making up prayers in similar situations, such as a woman with irregular bleeding (mustahadah) who stopped praying believing it was not obligatory. Based on this, you are not obliged to make up the prayers, and you should instead increase in supererogatory prayers.
