One who is far from Makkah is not obliged to face the Kaaba itself in their prayer; rather, it suffices for them to face the direction in which the Kaaba lies, based on Allah's saying: "So turn your faces toward it," and the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "What is between the East and the West is a Qibla." This is the view of the majority of scholars and is the most preponderant opinion. The mentioned deviation does not cause the mosque to be out of alignment with thea direction of the Qibla, although correcting the Qibla towards the exact Kaaba is more complete and better.
