Is it obligatory to think well of Allah even if the results are catastrophic, and do the calamities that occurred after thinking well of Allah mean that misery and suffering are inevitable for humans?

You must surrender to Allah Almighty's judgment and know that His choice and decree for you are better than your own choice for yourself. Take the necessary means, seeking Allah's help and being optimistic for good. If a calamity befalls you, be patient and submit to Allah's command, for everything Allah decrees for the believer is good. And know that you are rewarded for gratitude in times of blessing and patience in times of calamity. And ask Allah for a sound heart that turns to Him in repentance.
