If the origin of a field is permissible, then the default is to allow its dissemination and teaching. This is further affirmed if its goodness becomes widespread and its benefit becomes general, and the possibility of its misuse does not disturb this. As for prohibition, it comes if it is known that a specific person intends evil by learning it, so one should not aid in evil by teaching it. The default rule regarding selling something that can be used for unlawful purposes is that it it is not forbidden merely due to the possibility, rather it becomes forbidden if the seller knows the buyer's intention to commit unlawful acts with it.
