How much is the share of a sole daughter, who has no siblings or a mother, from her deceased father's inheritance?

If a man dies and leaves only one daughter, and no other heirs, then she inherits all his wealth: half as a prescribed share, and the remainder by return (radd). We must emphasize that inheritance matters are complex and delicate, and a mere fatwa (religious edict) is not sufficient. Rather, they must be referred to the Shar'i (Islamic) courts for investigation, as there might be an unknown heir, or bequests, or debts, or other rights that take precedence over the heirs' rights. Therefore, it is not permissible to distribute the inheritance without consulting the Shar'i courts, if possible.
