Should a patient stop praying when bleeding occurs due to menstruation-inducing medications for IVF?

The blood discharged due to pills, if it carries the characteristics of menstrual blood (dark, with an odor), then it is menstruation, prohibiting prayer, fasting, and intercourse. If it is red, then it is Istihadha (non-menstrual vaginal bleeding) and does not prohibit anything. Thus, the discharge of menstrual blood due to pills is considered menstruation, just as the cessation of the period due to them is considered purity. Ibn Taymiyyah permitted a divorced woman to count her waiting period if her known menstruation occurred due to medication.
