What is the ruling on shunning relatives who mock the religion and demand actions that violate Islamic law? And is their mockery considered an act of disbelief (kufr)?

Mocking religion is disbelief, and whoever among Muslims does so has apostatized. Shunning mocking relatives depends on the fear of being influenced by their temptation and the extent to which shunning affects them, while not sitting with them at the time of mockery. If corruption is feared from them, one should stay away from them, and their women should not be visited. They should be advised according to Islamic law and prayed for guidance. If shunning will affect them, then it is permissible to shun them to the extent of the benefit. If it does not affect them, then it is better to be patient with them, continue advising them, and pray for them.
