It is not among the necessities that allow for forbidden lying. Therefore, it is not permissible for you to lie or to obey your father in asking you to lie, because 'there is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to the Creator.' You can substitute lying by using 'ma'areedh' and 'tawriyah,' which are statements that carry two meanings, such as mentioning a previous trip or a place he passed through on his way to his more distant journey."
