What is the ruling on working as an employee for the wealthy, rulers, or kings, managing their private affairs, overseeing their properties, and purchasing their needs? And does the accountant bear sharia responsibility for excessive spending and the nature of the funds used?

There is no objection to working with someone who spends excessively on permissible matters or whose wealth is a mixture of lawful and unlawful. However, the worker must refrain from any prohibited dealings and is not allowed to engage in them or assist in them, for Allah Almighty says: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty."
